Newborn shoots take place in my comfortable studio (once upon a time my garage) situated at my home, it is decorated in neutral tones of beige and white. You can relax and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and watch your little one being photographed. I have a range of props, hats, headbands and wraps available to you to choose from. Some parents also like the look of an outfit so if this is you, please bring one along (maybe a spare too) and we can combine the two together.

These sessions also include parents and siblings too.

Photographing your new little ones is an absolute pleasure for me, sharing in the exciting moments with your family is a truly wonderful feeling. I NEVER tire of hearing all about your pregnancy, birth and settling in at home stories.

Time unfortunately goes so fast, we can't slow it down but with a newborn shoot you can look back and remember the emotions you felt when your baby was born and changed your lives for the better, not to mention remember all their little features that change so quickly every day.

You will never regret investing in memories of your baby, these will become invaluable to you.

I am a parent myself to two girls and I understand that they are now your everything. I have invested heavily in safety and training to make this experience a wonderful and stress free one, I allow between 2 to 2.5 hours for my newborn shoots so there is time for feeding, changing and of course cuddling. Patience is key with babies, and I will never rush you or your baby while you are here.

When to book a newborn shoot?

You can book as early as your 12-week scan, I book you in by your due date and when your baby is born you just need to let me know and we will book your official photo date in then. I recommend booking early to guarantee that I have a space around your baby's arrival date. I only take a certain number of newborn bookings each month to guarantee I will be available for you.

I know that babies rarely make an appearance on time so if they come early\late it's totally fine please don't worry I will fit you in when they are here.

I do sometimes have last minute availability so please just contact me and I will do my very best to fit you in or book now to avoid disappointment.
